Community resilience refers to a community’s ability to utilize its assets to withstand, adapt to, or recover from external stresses. This involves improving its members’ physical, behavioral, and social health.
Yayasan Project HOPE (YPH) aspires to fortify Indonesian communities with beneficial knowledge and supporting infrastructure so they will grow as durable as possible. This is done through educating healthcare workers to enhance their professional proficiencies, so they can guard and heal the people in the community better than before.
In addition, YPH also reaches out to the people to spread awareness of health maintenance methods and disease prevention to encourage independent attentiveness to the importance of good health to oneself and the community.
